Important Prom Information
We are incredibly excited to welcome our Seniors to Prom this Saturday evening at The Well at Cherry Well Farm! To help ensure a smooth, safe, and memorable night for everyone, please take a moment to review the important information below regarding parking, entry procedures, and event guidelines.
Event Details:
Doors will open at 7:00 PM, and all students must present a valid prom ticket to be admitted into the venue. Please have your ticket ready upon arrival. All students must arrive and check in no later than 9:00 PM. Please note that this is a no re-entry event—once a student leaves the venue, they will not be permitted to return. The event will conclude at 11:00 PM.
Parking:
Parking at The Well at Cherry Well Farm venue is limited. On-site parking will be available for the first 80 vehicles in a gravel lot. Once that lot is full, all additional vehicles will be directed to The First Church of God, where shuttle service will be provided to and from the venue throughout the evening.
To help reduce traffic and ensure a smooth arrival, we strongly encourage attendees to carpool whenever possible. The venue parking lot will open at 6:00 PM and GRC staff will be there to assist with parking to help maximize space on property. Please note: no vehicles will be allowed on the lot before 6:00 PM. Additionally, all limousine services and party bus transportation will be required to drop students off at The First Church of God. From there, students will use the provided shuttle service to reach the venue. No drop-offs will be permitted directly at The Well venue.
For safety and security, only individuals with a valid prom ticket will be permitted on venue property. The shuttle service will continue running at the end of the event until all students have safely returned to their vehicles.
Please be aware that Colby Road, where both the venue and overflow parking are located, is a two-lane country road. We anticipate increased traffic on prom night and encourage all student drivers to exercise caution and patience.
We have been working closely with our local police department and city officials to ensure a smooth and safe arrival and departure for all students on prom night. Students are strongly encouraged to follow the guidance of staff members and school resource officers, who will be stationed along the route and at key points to assist with parking, traffic flow, and overall safety.
Prom Photography:
We recognize that taking photos before prom is a cherished tradition for many families. While the venue will not be available for pre-prom photography, we encourage students and families to take advantage of GRC’s beautiful campus or the grounds outside The First Church of God—our designated shuttle location—for photo opportunities before the event.Professional photography will be available at the prom through Spectrum Photography. All students who participate will receive a complimentary 5x7 photo as a keepsake from the evening.
